Thank you again for reading. I used Milley because he called confederates traitors and was wrong to do so. It was a political statement. As far as his conduct as a military officer, there are issues. You cited many of them. You might also recall that after he walked with President Trump to the church that was damaged during 2020 riots, he apologized because his walking with the president could have been seen as supporting a political side. He even put out a written statement about how military officers need to remain apolitical. That was rich coming from him. I know I am not answering your question. Truth is, I believe he should have been charged. There are many retired officers who think so too. Especially for his communication with his Chinese counterpart. But my belief is likely biased and political.
